The initial step is to remove the vehicle that you are working on next to the car that is dead. Prior to proceeding the process, make sure that the two vehicles are shut off. It is not advisable to risk getting electrocuted. Then, you can open the hoods of both cars. After that, you should take the an end of red’s jumper cables and connect it to the positive part of the battery that has been stopped. Connect the opposite end of the cable to the positive cable that’s on the functioning car. The black jumper cable needs to be connected to on the positive side of the battery. Then, you can connect this cable to your dead car by using a piece made of clean metal. Do not join it to the battery’s negative side as they could trigger an explosion. Finally, start the good vehicle and allow it to run for several minutes in order in order to charge the dead battery. Next, you will need to remove the cables reversed and then put them back where they came from.
